Customers are guided through the online registration process when they first log onto the Digimap site. |

Transnational Education (TNE) Licensing Service - Institutional Participation Agreement
|
|
|
This allows HEIs to sign up for the optional TNE Licensing Service that started on 1 August 2019. All Jisc HE members are eligible to join the service. The TNE Licensing Service builds on and extends the work of the TNE Licensing Pilot - an initiative run by Jisc Collections to develop an optional service offer, to simplify the licensing and pricing of access to learning resources and to accommodate the requirements of those delivering educational programmes beyond UK borders. SCONUL, the Society of College, National and University Libraries, endorses the valuable work of Jisc Collections and the TNE Licensing Pilot Steering Group and supports the development of a common TNE Licensing Approach. The pilot ended on 31 July 2019, and the subscritpion renewed annually. |

OpenUP ECR Monograph Initiative
|
|
|
OpenUp is a collaboration aimed at funding first books by UK-based, unfunded early career researchers over a period of three years. Each year, 12 books will be published, with the first batch appearing in 2023. The books are contracted works that have undergone extensive peer-review at various submissions stages, selected for the project because the author is a UK-based early career scholar who would benefit significantly from their work being made OA. The publishers are six well-established, quality-led University Presses from the UK: Bristol University Press; Edinburgh University Press; Liverpool University Press; Manchester University Press; UCL Press; University of Wales Press. |
