Includes one of numerous selections of the Dering's prayers; the first selection originally published separately in 1574 as Godlye private praiers for houholders in their families.
Has many addtional prayers and some rearrangement; following the Prayer for the King is "A form of prayer daily to be used", beginning on M4 recto; the prayers on N5 recto-8 verso, Q5 verso-T5 verso, and Z2 recto-&7 verso are new in this edition and probably STC 6681.5. Selections from this collection are reprinted in STC 6717; for another selection see STC 6690--STC.
The catechism is followed by the prayers (register is continuous), which have a separate dated title page that reads: Godly priuate prayers, for householders to meditate vpon, and to say in their families. .. At London, Printed by Iames Roberts, 1605.
