First publication, with 26 maps, under title: Atlas maritimus, or, A book of charts. [London, 1670?] but all copies and editions vary in contents. On the basis of Halley's association with map [2], this copy of the atlas was issued after Oct. 1678. Cf. Phillips.
"Cum privilegio Regis."
The illustrations and maps are on 43 double plates.
