"Conditions of sale. I. The highest bidder is the buyer ... II. What books appear imperfect before they are taken away, the buyer shall have liberty to refuse. III. Every buyer shall give in his name and place of abode ... and be obliged to take away his books within three days after the sale is ended. All gentlemen are desired to appear early, the sale being designed to be finished the same afternoon."
