Note A reply answering Downame's "A defence of the sermon preached at the consecration of the L. Bishop of Bath and Welles" (STC 7115, part 2 of his "Two sermons"). In two parts. Register and pagination are separate. The second part has a separte dated title page (with imprint date 1614) that reads: The second part of a reply, answering a defence of a sermon preached at the consecration of the bishop of Bathe and Welles, by George Downame, Doctor of Divinitie.
Place of publication and printer, and correct date of publication suggested by STC (2nd ed.).
STC (2nd ed.) attributed work to John Rainolds. Sometimes attributed to Richard Sheerwood.
