We have access to 7 digimap collections: Aerial digimap; Environment digimap; Geology digimap; Historic digimap; Lidar digimap; Marine digimap; Ordnance survey collection. This online service allows users to view and create maps of any location in Great Britain using Ordnance Survey map data. Users can download data for use in other software packages, such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS), drawing software and CAD. To use DIGIMAP, you need to complete an online registration process with EDINA.

Aerial Digimap - high quality aerial photography of Great Britain, created and licensed by Getmapping plc. Data can be viewed, queried and printed in Aerial Roam, and searched and retrieved in Aerial Download.

Environment Digimap - land cover data from the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Separate datasets are available for 1990, 2000, 2007 and 2015. Dudley Stamp’s maps of the 1930’s Land Utilisation Survey of Britain are included.

Geology Digimap - geological map data from the British Geological Survey. Maps can be viewed, interrogated and printed, and data can be downloaded for use in geographical information systems.

Historic Digimap - historical Ordnance Survey maps of Great Britain. The Collection is licensed from Landmark Information Group. Coverage varies between the historical map editions with the first editions typically providing the fullest coverage.

Lidar Digimap - detailed data and vertical aerial photography from the Environment Agency. All the included data are available under the Open Government Licence.
|
|
|
Marine Digimap - raster nautical charts, and marine themes vector data. Raster charts are derived from UK Hydrographic Office charts. The vector data cover all UK waters, and are derived from authoritative material obtained from the UK Hydrographic Offices. All data are licensed by OceanWise.
