A reissue, with cancel title page, of the 1631 edition, which was printed by Bernard Alsop and Thomas Fawcet. Thomason received his copy in December 1644.
Annotation on Thomason copy: a one-page annotation on blank leaf preceding title page; on title page: above 'formerly suppressed by the Bishop of Canterbury': "NB: Geo: Abott; not .. Laude"; [above imprint: ".. by Lauds Chap: then Bp of London. Dr Martine after Mr of Queens Coll. Camb. This title onely was .. Decemb: 10 1644"; 5 in imprint date crossed out.
