Title A copy of a petition, commended to the peace-making association in the west, : by Colonell Blake, and Colonell Pyne, to be subscribed and presented by them to Sir Thomas Fairfax. Instead of a subscription, they returned this brief and moderate answer. Also a new oath now injoyned by ordinance of both houses, directly contrary to the oath of allegiance, and their own protestation, at the beginning of this Parliament.
