"In 1537 a revised English Bible known as "Matthew's Bible" appeared. ... The ascription to "Thomas Matthew" was nominal ... its real editor being John Rogers"--Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church.
"The seconde parte", "The thirde parte" and "The Newe Testament" each have special t.p. and separate pagination.
"Imprynted at London by Nicolas Hyl, for Roberte Toye, dwellynge in Paules Churcheyarde at the sygne of the Bell"--Colophon.
"Cum gracia et priuilegio ad imprimendum solum."
Signatures: a⁶ *⁶ [par.]⁸ A-O⁸ a-t⁸ v³ 2a-2z⁸ 2&⁶ 3A-3S⁸ 3T⁶.
