Other octavo editions exist dated 1637. In this edition, "tongues" on the t.p. is capitalized; subject headings are in Italic type; and side notes are indicated by lower-case letters of the alphabet.
Inscription in ink on verso of last leaf reads: Ann the doughter of John Thorpe was born on the 2 day of March in the year of our Lord 1702; John ye son of John Thorp[-] was born on ye 15 day of Janewary 1704/5; Thomas ye son of John Thorp[-] was born one the 15 day of August 1706; Hanah ye doughter of Jo[hn] Thorp was born on the 5 day of February 170[9].
