Helen tells Ruth she has Multiple Personality Disorder and that she has seven different personalities living within her, some of which have made her try to kill herself on several ocasions. In this documentary Ruth tries to find out who these other people are, what happened to her friend over the years that they were apart, and how her disorder affects her everyday life.
