Chester Battle Of 1659 : Another great victory obtained by the Lord Lambert against Sir George Booth, on Sunday morning last : with the manner of his taking the city of Chester and throwing open the gates, the taking of the five hundred prisoners and divers eminent commanders, viz, Maj. Gen. Egerton, the Lord Kilmurrey, Col. Brooks and Sir Wil. Neal : as also another desperate fight at Leverpool, the taking of the town, the beating and pursuing of the enemy toward Wales, and the escape of Sir George Booth with 200 horse to Cherk Castle.
