A true and perfect relation of that most sad and terrible earthquake, at Port-Royal in Jamaica, which happened on Tuesday the 7th. of June, 1692. : Where, in two minutes time the town was sunk under ground, and two thousand souls perished: With the manner of it at large; in a letter from thence / written by Captain Crocket: As also of the earthquake which happen'd in England, Holland, Flanders, France, Germany, Zealand, &c. and in most parts of Europe: on Thursday the 8th of September. Being a dreadful warning to the sleepy world: or, God's heavy judgments shewed on a sinful people, as a fore-runner of the terrible day of the Lord. |
