Copy at 1754:23 has title printed within border (McK. & Ferg. 125) as follows: The palace of pleasure beautified adorned and well furnished vvith pleasaunt histories and excellent nouels, selected out of diuers good and commendable authours. By William Painter clarke of the ordinaunce and armarie. Eftsones perused corrected and augmented. 1575. Imprinted at London by Thomas Marshe.
Numerous errors in foliation.
Imperfect at reel 660:7: A2-7 possibly lacking; G1, G3-5, I7, K2-4 and P8 lacking.
