Note Includes 1 folded sheet inserted at end, with heading: "Table manuell of the pronounciation, and orthographie of the French tongue: in which is contained a reformed alphabet of 28. letters; and of syllables, diphthongs compounded of two vowels, and tripthongs compounded of three, pronounced together: to be artificially placed, and learned on the hand. ..", and "Printed at London by W. S[tansby]. 1613. With grace and priuiledge royall" at end.
"The tp is a cancel, and this is clearly a reissue of unsold sheets. The letter on F2r is dated 17 July 1613, and the folding Table w[ith]. sheet signature G and imprint: 'W. S[tansby]. 1613. With Grace and Priuiledge Royall' has its own dedic[ation]., dated 28 July 1613. The privilege was prob[ably]. French .."--STC.
