Title A true relation of the most vvofull and miserable state and condition of those distressed prisoners, taken by His Maiesties forces, and deteined and kept in the Castle at Oxford : VVith the inhumane, unspeakable, and unheard-of usage of their keeper or gaoler Captaine Thomas Smith the Marshall Generall. As also, a relation of the execrable cruelties of the cavaliers in Yorkshire, upon a young man, horsing him, and hanging lead waights upon his legges untill he dyed. Written, and sent by a poore gentleman a prisoner there, to a gentleman a friend of his here in London.
