Hereunto are also added the liues of Epaminondas, of Philip of Macedon, of Dionysius the elder, tyrant of Sicilia, of Augustus Cæsar, of Plutarch, and of Seneea [sic]: with the liues of nine other excellent chieftaines of warre: collected out of Æmylius Probus, by S.G. S. and Englished by the aforesaid translator

The first leaf is blank.
"The liues of Epaminondas, of Philip of Macedon, of Dionysius the elder, and of Octauius Cæsar Augustus" has separate dated title page. It is a translation by North of a compilation by Simon Goulart of Senlis, partly from the "Vitae excellentium imperatorum" of Cornelius Nepos ("Æmylius Probus"). Pagination and register are continuous.
