FAME

FAME, a tool specialising in private company data, holds information on every registered business in the UK and Ireland. It covers 15 million active and inactive companies, with up to 20 years of financial data available. It is updated daily.

You have access to Full FAME, that is FAME A + B + C. The modules are defined below:

• Fame A - Companies with turnover greater than £1.5 million, or profits greater than £150,000, or shareholder funds greater than £1.5 million.
• Fame B - Companies with turnover between £500,000 and £1.5 million, or shareholder funds between £500,000 and £1,500,000, or fixed assets or current assets or current liabilities or long-term liabilities of more than £500,000.
• Fame C - Companies with fixed assets or current assets, or current liabilities or shareholder funds of between £175,000 and £500,000.

Licence information

Licence terms prohibit commercial use including university business processes (for example Business Development, Marketing and Alumni Offices).
